Before you buy

Everything asked more than once.

The questions owners of small service sites ask before buying an audit. If yours isn't answered here, write to us.

Scope & fit

My site is more than five pages. Does the audit still work?

Usually yes. During intake you tell us the five URLs you most want us to focus on, or we pick the five that most influence enquiries. Sites over about fifty pages sit outside the scope; the fit check tells you before you pay.

Do you offer local SEO services?

Not as a monthly service. The audit checks the local SEO basics on your site — tap-to-call, consistent business details, service-area wording, structured data — and turns the most important gaps into fixes you can make yourself. Read local SEO for small businesses for the bigger picture.

Does it work with WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?

Yes. The audit reads your public pages, so the platform doesn't matter, and each fix says where to make the change. Sites whose content only appears after JavaScript runs can't be audited; the fit check tells you before you pay.

I'm an e-commerce site. Should I buy this audit?

No. E-commerce SEO is a different discipline — product feeds, faceted navigation, category-vs-product-page architecture — and a five-page audit format doesn't do it justice. We'd rather refer you to a specialist than take the fee.

I'm a national B2B service, not local. Still relevant?

Yes, if your site is roughly small-service-business scale (informational + a couple of money pages) and you can name the queries you want to earn. Say "UK-wide" at intake and we'll treat you as non-local; the same three-fix format applies.

My site is on Squarespace / Wix / Shopify. Does that matter?

The audit works on all mainstream builders. Some fixes are done differently in different platforms and the ticket writes the version appropriate to your CMS. If your site is on a platform we've flagged as a poor fit for SEO in general, we'll say so and give you the honest picture.

I have a landing page hidden from search. Can you audit it?

No — an audit is about what search engines can see. If a page is behind a login or noindexed, it isn't part of your search footprint and we won't include it in the five URLs.

Refunds & guarantees

What happens if you can't find three material issues?

You keep whatever we found and get a full refund automatically. We never pad an audit to reach three. See the pricing page for the exact refund policy.

Do you guarantee any specific ranking or traffic outcome?

No, and neither should anyone else in SEO. Google's own documentation is clear that no one can guarantee a specific rank. Every ticket in your pack states its expected effect size and confidence — an honest range, not a promise. What we do commit is doing the work properly, and refunding if we can't find three material issues.

I changed my mind — can I get a refund?

Before you pay, yes — nothing is charged until the fit check passes and you complete checkout. Once paid, the audit starts immediately and usually finishes within the hour, so it can't be cancelled part-way; if it fails to run, you are refunded in full automatically. Full terms on the terms page.

Data & access

Do I have to give you my Google Search Console login?

No. We never ask for passwords or account access. You can optionally upload a Search Console performance export (CSV) during intake to make the fixes more specific; the audit works without it.

Where does my data live? For how long?

Your intake, crawl output and delivered report are stored in the UK behind a customer-specific access token for twelve months from delivery, then deleted. You can request earlier deletion in writing. We don't train models on your data or resell it. Details in the privacy policy.

Will the audit report appear in Google's search results?

No. Every report page lives on a private URL protected by an access token, carries a noindex directive, is disallowed in our robots.txt, and never appears in a sitemap. Your customers' words, your quotes, your numbers — never public.

How the AI works

Who actually does the audit?

Our crawler reads your site and runs a fixed set of technical and local SEO checks. Anthropic's Claude then chooses the three issues most likely to move enquiries and writes each fix with exact wording. Before you see anything, every fix is checked automatically against the crawl: it must name a real page on your site and quote text that is actually there. Fixes that fail are thrown out. See how it works.

Do you use AI to write the audit?

Yes — the audit is written by AI and no person reviews it before you receive it. We say this plainly because you should know what you are buying. What we add is the fixed scope, the fact-checks, the exact-wording format and a refund if the result doesn't meet the bar.

How long from payment to delivery?

Usually within the hour of payment, and always within one UK business day. If something goes wrong and we can't deliver, you are refunded in full automatically.

What if you find something urgent — like the site is deindexed?

It goes at the top of your report as an urgent flag, above the three fixes, whatever else we find.

After the audit

Can you implement the fixes for me?

No — we only sell the audit, so we have no reason to inflate findings. Each ticket is detailed enough for you or your web builder to make the change.

I fixed the three things and nothing has changed. What now?

Give it eight to twelve weeks for the position changes to settle before making a call — Google does not move immediately. If after twelve weeks nothing has moved, the constraint on the site's ranking is somewhere other than the three fixes: usually links, competing content, or a broader trust signal that a five-page audit can't fix. At that point a different service is needed, and we'll say what.

Can I re-purchase in three months for another three fixes?

Yes, if the first three are done. Repeat audits usually catch different issues once the top-three are in flight — the constraint moves. We don't sell subscriptions or push a "monthly audit"; buy it when you need it.
