Terms of service

Terms of service.

These terms govern the £99 Small-Site SEO Audit, provided by a UK sole trader named on the about page. They are written in plain English deliberately. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a UK consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Version 1.0 · Effective 23 September 2026.

1. What you're buying

A one-off SEO audit ("the Audit"), described on the how it works page. The Audit is generated by artificial intelligence and checked by automated software; it is not reviewed by a person before delivery. The deliverable is a private report page containing up to three implementation-ready fix tickets and a list of other issues identified, delivered usually within one hour and in any case within one UK business day of payment. Scope is fixed: up to five priority URLs on one domain, one primary service, up to three locations. Coverage detail is on pricing.

2. The fee, and when it's charged

The fee is £99, currently VAT-inclusive (below the UK VAT threshold). Payment is taken by card via Stripe only after the automated fit check confirms the site can be audited. No fee is due if the fit check fails.

3. Refund policy

The refund policy in full is on the pricing page. In summary:

  • Fit check fails: no fee taken.
  • Fewer than three fixes pass our automated checks: full refund, automatically, and you keep what was delivered.
  • A delivered fix states something about your site that is not true, reported within seven days: we correct it or refund in full, at your choice.
  • The Audit fails to run or is not delivered within one UK business day: full refund, automatically.
  • Delivered pack contains zero material issues: full refund.
  • The Audit starts automatically on payment and usually completes within an hour, so it cannot be cancelled part-way. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
  • Change of opinion after delivery: no refund; audits are subjective judgement work and delivered work stands.

4. What is not included

Implementation of the fixes, link-building, ongoing consulting, Google account setup, e-commerce feed work, and content writing beyond ticket-level copy. See pricing.

5. Your responsibilities

You warrant that: the domain you are asking us to audit is one you have authority to have audited; any data you upload or grant access to is yours to share; and any private information you upload is redacted where appropriate. We may pause or refuse an audit if we reasonably believe these are not true.

6. Confidentiality

The audit report, your intake, and any data you share are treated as confidential to you. We do not publish, resell, or share them without your written consent. See the privacy policy for detail on how the data is held.

7. IP in the deliverable

Once fully paid, you own the copy of the report we deliver to you and may share it internally, forward it to your builder, or use its recommendations. We retain a copy for our records for twelve months. We retain copyright in our methodology, checklists and template — you receive a licence to use the report, not to resell the underlying method.

8. Rankings and outcomes — what we do not promise

No SEO service can guarantee a specific ranking, a specific number of enquiries, or a specific traffic outcome. Every finding in the pack states its confidence and expected effect size honestly. If a claim on this website contradicts this clause, this clause prevails.

9. Liability

Our aggregate liability to you under this contract is capped at the fee paid (£99), except where a lower cap is prohibited by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under UK law. In particular, none of these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including the right to services performed with reasonable care and skill.

10. Force majeure

Delivery deadlines may be extended by events outside our reasonable control (illness, upstream service outages, adverse weather). If we can't deliver within a reasonable extended window, you are entitled to a full refund.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the contract at any time by written notice. Consequences depend on where in the process termination happens — see clause 3 above.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms apply as they were on the date of your purchase. We may update them for future purchases; the version and effective date at the top of this page records the current text.

13. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, subject to your statutory rights as a UK consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your own UK jurisdiction. Before any dispute we will attempt in good faith to resolve it by correspondence — see the editorial and corrections policy.
